I’m so happy you’re here! Photography has been part of my life since I was seventeen years old. I took my first photography class in college because the Photography sign, like a magnet, kept calling me and I could no longer ignore it. My teacher saw something in me, and I was hooked on the process, spending endless hours processing film and making prints in the darkroom. Photography became my passion, I decided then I would major in the arts and went on to receive a degree in photography, one of my professors was Michael Jacksons’ personal photographer in the 80’s! I am deeply grateful for that opportunity and for learning from the best in the industry.

After college I have attended numerous photography conferences and workshops to help me perfect my craft. As a trained photographer I deeply value the meaning of photographs and pay close attention to all the details that go behind creating meaningful heirlooms. Looking through old photographs brings me so much joy and nostalgia, those are the feelings I aspire to bring to my clients when they view the photographs we created together.

My previous job was in education but I left that job in 2019 because I missed my creative side and to turn my dream, of being a business owner and having my own portrait studio, into a reality!

To me, Parenthood is the best job ever, draining and fulfilling at the same time and so important to document. Capturing motherhood, connecting with women, and working with children fills my heart deeply. Children and I naturally gravitate towards each other and working in education has provided me ample experience working with children, I have a way with kids, know infinite children’s songs, and a bit of sign language.

Motherhood, children, joy, and the great outdoors is what inspires me. Most days you'll find me cuddling my children, singing, learning something new, or catching the sunset with my wonderful husband. Thank you for stopping by and considering me to tell your story. I can’t wait to meet you!
